My Review:
This is the second Cupid, Texas story by Lori Wilde but the
first one I read. I absolutely adored it. It was sweet, fun and so well written
that I want to go to Cupid myself. From the very beginning I was hooked. I felt
and related to Lace Bettingfield both as her teenage self and as her geeky
Botanist adult. Throw in sexy and overly confident football star Pierce
Hollister and it’s a story not to miss.
I love the idea of a whole town helping out the lovesick and
lovelorn to find some peace and happiness. Especially since it does seem like
Cupid really does bless the town. I also enjoyed that I walked away feeling
like I learned some botany, which is a feat since that’s the one topic during
my Biology degree I despised. Ms. Wilde made it a fun little perk of the book.
The scenes and encounters between these two ranged from
sweet to HOT. I felt the connection between the characters and would easily
read this book again.
Overall I think this is a great story that I highly recommend,
and a series I will be following.
