My
Love Affair with Reunion Stories
By
Sara Daniel
Half of
the books I’ve written are reunion stories in one form or another. One Night with the Bride is no
exception. In fact, the reunited lovers theme is what this story is all about.
Gritting her teeth to marry a guy she feels nothing for—sure, Caroline can do
that. Give up one last chance to check out the only man she ever loved—nope,
can’t pass that up!
I love
reunion stories of past lovers brought back together. First, the story has
inherent conflict. Caroline and Javier left each other for a reason all those
years ago, and those unresolved issues are still waiting for them when they
return. But now the problems of the past are magnified by the hurt and pain of
their years apart.
Because
they have loved each other in the past, they also share a connection, an
extremely powerful one in the case of Caroline and Javier. After the initial
“reunion” meet, the connection continues to draw them back together until they
resolve their differences and achieve the blissful happily ever after that
every romance reader looks forward to.
Sara Daniel writes what she loves—irresistible
romance, from sweet to erotic and everything in between. She lives her own
happily-ever-after romance with her hero husband. Connect with her online at:

One Night With the Bride
When her society matron mother presents Caroline with
a one-night stand date a week before her wedding, she’s appalled. Even worse,
the encounter will take place at the fantasy ranch resort operated by her high
school lover, Javier Alvarado. Although determined to remain faithful to her
fiancé, she’s tempted and intrigued to see her first love again. It’s not like
she has to sleep with him.
But one look and kiss later, she yearns for the man
she walked away from so long ago. Unfortunately, when Javier discovers Caroline
is engaged, all he can see is deception and heartbreak all over again.
Can a 1Night Stand from Madame Eve reunite them, or
will one night with the bride sever their ties forever?

I can't really think of anything very unusual other than my SIL wore a pair of boxer shorts with my brother's favorite Nascar racer under her wedding dress as a little surprise. He thought it was good luck since the guy ended up winning so she had to wear some sort of apparel every race day for a while until my brother gave up on that idea :)
ReplyDeleteI love reunion stories too - one of my favourites. Your book sounds like a perfect read.
ReplyDeleteI wore ballet shoes on my wedding day because my husband wasn't much taller than me and didn't want me to wear high heels. I thought white satin teacher's ballet shoes would look perfect.
ReplyDeleteHow about... (LOL)running off to the justice of the peace to get married only to find out the parents of the bride are already there? Yup! In the judge's office trying to convince him not to allow the marriage to go through. It happened to me (shaking my head in embarrassment). I was young, to young to be getting married and that marriage didn't last. But four and a half years into it I got pregnant with my daughter who is off to college next week on a softball scholarship. So I do not regret on moment. :)Now I laugh just thinking about it. LOL
ReplyDeleteI wore me last HS dance dress as my wedding dress and we walked up to the pulpit WO music.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't have one. Not many of my friends are married.
