Since it’s all about birthdays, I thought I’d recount one of
my all-time favorite birthday memories. My sister was in 2nd grade
and 7 years old, she decided to throw me a “surprise” birthday party, and she
did a pretty good job. With my mom’s help she managed to talk to each of my
friend’s secretly, she just forgot to tell them it was a “surprise” party so
they all asked me about it. So I talked to my mom and she said it was supposed
to be a surprise, so even though I knew it was coming, I let myself be taken
away and distracted while her little 7 year old decorated our grandmother’s
house. I acted super surprised when I arrived and to this day, it’s one of my
favorite memories with my sister and related to my birthday.
