Blurb:

Sara Jenkins, a math geek and hockey fanatic, is thrilled when the NHL hires her as an advisor for the Buffalo Storm. She gets to marry her two loves in this perfect job.

Sebastian St. Amant is a young hockey player looking to make the jump from the minors to the big leagues. His lifelong dream is within reach, but he needs to convince the Storm's management and coaches he's ready.

When Sara and Sebastian meet, sparks immediately fly. Both want to succeed, but neither can ignore the growing attraction and a relationship is out of the question—Sara’s an influential staff member and Sebastian’s a player, not to mention over ten years her junior.

But the impossible becomes the necessary when they can no longer fight their attraction. As everything crashes around them, the strength of their relationship is tested. Will it weather the storm, or should they have known better?

Warning: This title is intended for readers over the age of 18 as it contains adult sexual situations and/or adult language, and may be considered offensive to some readers.

Author Interview:

To get started can you tell us what you are working on or have coming out?

My first non-erotic story, a contemporary hockey romance titled Should’ve Known Better released a few weeks ago. It tells the story of Sarah and Sebastian, and it was the first book I ever wrote. I’m thrilled I was able to get this one out there – Sebastian is probably my favorite hero I’ve ever written.

If you were stranded on an island, what and who would you take with you?

An Ellora’s Cave Caveman (which one shall remain a mystery unless you know me, then it’s not much of a mystery, lol), a Kindle with five thousand romances on it and an unlimited battery life, sunscreen, and a cookbook called “Tips for Not Starving While Stranded on an Island”.

Where do you dream of traveling to and why?

I would *love* to travel to Europe for about a month. I’ve only ever been to Italy and I’d be so excited to see the rest! There are lots of other cool places that I’ve already been to, like the Caribbean, Hawaii, Italy, and Hong Kong. All were great experiences.

Plotter or Pantser? Why?

Pretty much a pantser, to the point where I can finish writing a chapter and have no idea what’s going to happen next. I almost never know how my books will end and oftentimes am writing along and say, “This looks like a good place to stop.” Then I type “The End”. I drive other writers crazy!

Where are your fans most likely to find you hanging out?

I’m on Facebook pretty much all day. I also post to Twitter, though not as often as I used to. I recently got on Pinterest but I can’t say as I “hang out” there. Excerpt:

His gaze dropped to her mouth. “I have to touch you.” Lifting his thumb, Sebastian then traced it over her bottom lip before dipping it into her mouth.

She couldn’t help herself. She needed to taste him again. Swiping her tongue over the tip, she sampled his hot skin and arousal roared through her.

Pulling his thumb out, he brought their bodies flush then kissed her hard. It was a kiss filled with fire, his lips hot and restless. He pushed his tongue into her mouth, exploring and spreading a warm blanket of lust over her. Sebastian kissed her as if he was establishing possession, and a heavy wave of ecstasy flooded her.

“Tu es ma femme.”

Her own breath came in short pants as she forced oxygen into her starving lungs. She didn’t need that phrase translated—she knew what it meant—“you’re my woman.” If their circumstances were different, she’d like nothing more than that, but it could never be.
