My Review:

Defying the Skies was a great sci-fi love story within a short story size. There are lots of sexy scenes to keep their relationship front and center even throughout the action packed scenes. I loved the little tidbits about the futuristic world, I will admit I haven’t read the first book and that didn’t detract from this story at all. This is a ménage story but it’s a ménage with characters that feel true to life.

Geneva is obviously a strong character just from being a commander but she’s also this amazingly confident person who has no trouble juggling a relationship with two sexy men. Ash and Marcus are definitely her equal and that’s one of things I loved about their relationship, I felt like they were all on the same footing and the same page. The sexual tension in this book was very well done and I do so appreciate an author who can walk that tightrope.

Overall a well-balanced story with both the storyline and the romance aspects, I really hope these three get a sequel as there was this what happens next feel to it. I do recommend this story for fans of both science fiction and ménage romances.
