Gonzo by @CandaceBlevins #NewRelease #RTMC

Title: Gonzo
Author: Candace Blevins
Series: Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club
Rating: 5 Books
Blurb: Gonzo has not only had to come to terms with the loss of his entire family, but he also barely survived being shot in the chest multiple times while still a human, and was then later turned into a werewolf during a vicious attack while hiking as he tried to put his life back together.

Constance has had her own losses to deal with, and while nowhere near as bad as Gonzo’s, they’ve left a mark on her as well. She’s determined to live her life without a partner though, because her two sexual experiences in college convinced her she’s asexual.

Gonzo’s a biker people cross the road to avoid, while Constance has multiple doctorate degrees and works as a research scientist for a leading pharmaceutical firm. Gonzo doesn’t trust women, Constance has no use for men — and yet they’re going to find themselves working toward the same goals.

Can they form a team to do what needs to be done?

Gonzo has every reason to hate women, and every reason to not trust anyone. Enter Constance who has her own reasons for living life the way she does, and together they have to work together. It’s not easy but they have to, of course him being a werewolf and her a human, is just one of the small obstacles in their way.

Gonzo was a character that I’ve grown to be intrigued by before this book, and while I think this could possibly be read as a standalone, I enjoyed this story more because I already knew Gonzo and wanted his story, and wanted him to find his version of happily ever after.

As expected from Ms. Blevins, she brings a depth to the characters that even though it’s a human and a werewolf, they are still characters that present as real people that I can relate to. In true Blevins fashion she also brings the sexy to the page, I found myself reaching for ice water on several occasions, because even the tension between these two is off the charts.

I definitely loved every second of this book and couldn’t put it down once I started, much to the disappointment of my household chores that I neglected as I rushed to find out how Gonzo and Constance would compromise and work together. I also really enjoyed seeing pieces of other past characters that I loved. I hope there are many more RTMC books in the future, and in reality I know I will pick up anything that Ms. Blevins writes.
